About you —

You are securities registered and insurance licensed (or willing to obtain these credentials quickly).  You are analytical and have a keen attention to detail.  You have experience and an interest in financial planning and investments, as well as a passion to serve clients.  You are process oriented and understand the need to document your work in our client relationship management software.

 

As a licensed professional, you are looking for an opportunity to join a team to help you build and accelerate your earnings by providing direct investment support to our team of advisors.  You are vitally interested in investments and financial planning detail and enjoy research and analysis. You are able to handle details and follow-through and make clients feel supported and appreciated.  You are a multi tasker able to handle multiple projects at the same time.

 

Job responsibilities —

Investment Management and Advisor Support

  • Manage and maintain our investment portfolios
  • Leverage investment analysis tools (fi360, Morningstar, Envestnet, etc.) to analyze portfolios and recommend changes over time
  • Conduct client account rebalancing, dollar cost averaging and other tactical account management actions
  • Produce scheduled reports for advisors and assist in proactively managing account variances
  • Manage proprietary investment portfolio allocations and recommending changes to investment portfolios
  • Fulfill compliance requirements at the highest level
  • Support advisory team by managing and executing daily trades in client accounts

 

Research and Analysis

  • Lead our internal Investment Committee.  Build agenda for regular meetings and lead advisory team through agenda.
  • Proactively research economic and market trends and inform advisory team
  • Conduct ongoing investment research
  • Respond to client service requests
  • Maintain reporting systems related to clients, assets and production
  • Meet regularly with third-party managers to determine viability
  • Consult with external partners and vendors to align our investment portfolios to broader industry trends
